Everyone goes on many journeys throughout their lives. My life was very regimented until recently. I put 20 years into protecting our nation. I put another 20 years into working for the DoD. And through most of this time my wife Paula was by my side helping me understand and giving me direction. She was a very smart and wonderful person. Always wanting to save and help those around her. Her devotion to rescuing animals was the pillar of our lives. I helped her as much as I could but at times found it difficult to understand.

Now my life has lost that direction and I have searched for a path. I tried several remedies but nothing seemed to give me that direction, a regimented path that I could follow to some conclusion... It leaves me feeling lost in the dark at times so the photos that best represent who I am are moody, stark.

I am still learning how to capture images. Still learning how to express myself through those images. I made this website to capture my journey so that I may reflect on the path that I am taking. I invite you to journey along with me in my attempt to capture that which shows the essence of who I am.
